ALGORITHMIST Programming Contest - Code. Compile. Win.

Do algorithm fascinate you? Do you feel the adrenaline rush while coding? It's the place to be, competing against other participants to get your code "Accepted" as fast as possible. It's your chance to show who the best "ALGORITHMIST" is.

1. A team consist of not more than 2 participants.
2. Online prelims (on www.hackerrank.com) on 3rd January 2015 from 6pm to 9pm. 25 teams will be selected from online prelims.
3. Onsite prelims to be held on 16th January 2015 at IEM Gurukul Campus, Kolkata, India. 15 teams will be selected from the same.
4. Finals will be hosted on 18th January 2015 at IEM Gurukul Campus, Kolkata, India with top 40 teams competing (25+15).

Online Prelims:

1. There will be 4 questions based on algorithms.
2. Time duration to solve all questions: 3 hours.

Onsite Prelims:

1. There will be 15 MCQ questions and 4 programming questions.
2. Time duration to solve all questions: 3 hours.

Finals:

1. There will be 5 problems.
2. Time duration allotted is 3 hours.

Prizes:
1st Prize: INR 5000
2nd Prize: INR 3000
3rd Prize: INR 2000
All the final round participants will get ACM events certified certificates.
